Honoring Veterans

This book is ultimately a love letter to my father, a narration of my lifelong quest to know him and the man whose life he was trying to save. Below are the men, including my dad, who gave their lives in the Battle of Valentine's Ridge. Those who were initially listed as MIA, whose bodies were brought down from the ridge by Kilo 1st Platoon, are designated with a 'MIA/KIA.' Those who were carried KIA/body not recovered are designated as such. All bodies were eventually recovered on March 6, 1968.
